Euroleague basketball launched the basketball content creator tournament „Hoop District“ taking place in Paris and Berlin. For both cities, one local artist was chosen to be represented at the event. Together with BEuroleague Basketball rief das Basketball-Content-Creator-Turnier „Hoop District" ins Leben, das in Paris und Berlin stattfand. Für jede Stadt wurde ein lokaler Künstler ausgewählt, der das Event repräsentierte. Gemeinsam mit den Berliner Künstlern Zsolt Ferenci und Toni Prediger bemalte Atau sechs Basketbälle von Hand, die in der Ausstellung im Kraftwerk Berlin gezeigt wurden – neben Arbeiten aus seinen Serien „Homegrown" und „Fire&Ice". Als Teil der Ausstellung bemalte er zwei weitere Basketbälle live vor Publikum und fing so die Dynamik des Turniers ein.erlin artists Zsolt Ferenci and Toni Prediger, I handpainted six Basketballs which were showcased at the exhibition at Kraftwerk Berlin along artworks from my series „Homegrown“ and „Fire&Ice“.
As a part of the exhibition I live-painted two basketballs over the course of the event, capturing the dynamics of the tournament.
