Schule am Weinweg is a school in Karlsruhe, Germany with a special focus on students with visual impairments. The challenge for this project was therefore to create a room installation that would be interesting and exciting for people with and without visual impairments. To transform the space into a work of art, I decided to integrate the entire ceiling into the artwork. This almost makes it look like the ceiling no longer exists, and instead you look through the open space at an abstract sky. From my window on the 6th floor, you can look out over the rooftops of Berlin. The vibrant colors of the sunlight shining through the evening clouds are a great source of inspiration for me.
